Rodoljub Anastasov was born in 1935, in Skopje, R.Macedonia. Graduated at the Academy for Fune Arts in Belgrade. Was a member of the international group “Junij”. His life is devoted to painting and as a second preoccupation from 1968 is artistic-education. He is employed at the faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje since its founding in 1980 and works there till 2000.
He has accomplished 28 one-man exhibitions (the number of the shows is stated in the brackets): Skopje(4), Prilep, Ohrid and Velestovo- R. Macedonia; Paris(3)- France; Novi Sad(2), Belgrade and Zrenjanin – SR.Yugoslavia; Ljubljana and Maribor-R.Slovenia; Sarajevo, Tuzla and Mostar- Bosna and Herzegovina; Zagreb, Porec, Buzet, Labin, Pazin, Rovinj and Pula-R.Croatia; Sofia-R.Bugaria; Istanbul-Turkey.
He is a holder of 33 awards of which 13 national, 7 in SR.Yugoslavia, 6 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 5 in Croatia, 2 in Egypt (of the 8th and the 14th Mediterranean Biennal in Alexandria).
For speciall achievement he is awarded with the plaque of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje for the 50th year anniversity. He holds the “Medallion of honor-2000 Millennia” of the American Biographical Institute, as a persolality that has given valuable mark on the development of society and etc.
He has participated in over 400 group exibitons in Macedonia and abroad.
